Here are closeup photos of the fabric choices:
I don't know if I've set my stitches on my machine too small, but the fabric is gathering and pluckering. I don't mind so much -- but I hope this doesn't happen with the other rows I will sew during the swap!
If my swap partners are reading this, here are the details on what I'd love for my rows.
* Fabric shades of medium blue and lime or kelly green. Additional accent colors and blues & greens are welcome! Use your stash! The wackier the fabric, the better.
* I will use white fabric as the borders, so you can use white if you want.
* Width: 50.5 inches. Each row should be 50 inches when finished.
* The theme is modern quilting. I'd love stacked coins, zig zags, wonky squares, disappearing nine patches, stars, log cabin, or any block/row sampler.
* Embellishments to a minimum, please. I will be washing this quilt frequently and don't want to lose anything in the wash!
* I have no preference on raw edge applique.
I have already received a row from one of the swappers. She was quick! Her row is a sampler of Underground Railroad quilt blocks. Its a very cool idea!

Nice! Love the Orla Kiely fabric!!
You have a lot of cute fabrics! Are you going to use this quilt for your own bed?
Oooh this is going to be a great quilt. I am already thinking what I will make!
Sarah, haha... good eye!
Janell, I have lots of leftover scraps. Perfect for projects like this. Not so perfect for organization and storage! Most likely, this will be a spare blanket to be used for snuggling up under on the sofa while watching tv. Or maybe bring it to my folks' cabin in Minnesota next summer where an extra blanket is always appreciated.
Natasha, woohoo! I loved your blocks for the row swap... It will be fun to work on that when I get it!! :)
